Prada SS/2011

Prada’s spring 2011 collection finds inspiration in early twentieth century jazz with flapper style dresses and banana motifs reminiscent of Josephine Baker’s iconic costume. Bringing a sense of modernity to the retro influences, stripes, bold color and latin motifs took to the runway in full force, bringing a sense of drama to Milan Fashion Week.

Burberry SS/2011

Burberry has always been about clothes that screams elegance and sophisticated; except this season. The burberry biker men are now with their women. In my opinion, the styling was quite glamorous and trendy that every piece are paired with another stunning masterpiece. I do love the color use and those electrifying bright colored fabrics underneath the beige leather jackets. So basically, I kind of also love the collection. I’m always open for something new from Burberry but I’m just hoping that it wouldn’t follow the trend of pop music fashion.

Proenza Schouler SS/2011

Remember last spring season when the designers Proenza Schouler sent their models down the runway in electric colours, tye dye and high hems? Well this Spring, their girls grew up a bit. I really like how this collection is like a ‘Part 2’ of last spring, but a much more mature collection. More lady-like pieces show the designers ability to grow yet stay true to their designer instincts (bright colours and patterns and sexy silhouettes).

You can't say it's not entertaining......Jeremy Scott SS2011
